Once they were out of the tower and in the corridor her shoulders stiffened, as though the reality of the insane thing she agreed to had finally sunk in, a moment too late to turn back around and call the whole thing off. She was a principled person who behaved in school, but she still had a streak of valor that at times could be almost brash, there was no backing down from a challenge once it was issued, even though usually those challenges were more above board and academic in nature.
Exchanging a glance with Sirius in the dimly lit corridor she listened hard for anything that might indicate they weren't alone out there. She didn't want to think about what might happen were she caught like this, as Head Girl. She was allowed to walk the halls any time, for the purposes of patrolling, but being out in the middle of the night with another student for no reason other than a cup of tea? That wouldn't look very good in front of the Headmaster, she was quite sure of that.
"Well?" She squinted at him. "You're the criminal mastermind, lead on."
