At the mention of moving from the Common Room back to her bedroom Lily's eyes flashed in amusement, giving the idea a surprising amount of thought. "Do you want to come back to my bedroom with me Sirius?" Her heart raced, actually saying something like that aloud. There had been some heated exchanges while on family holidays of course, but taking someone all the way back to her bedroom would be a first.
"Is it that you don't think we could make sufficient enough conversation in the Common Room?" A shrewd smirk crossed her features, eyes narrowing in challenge as she dared him to be direct about what he wanted.
"You ask that like you don't know my answer already," he said with a teasing look, drawing her in closer so he could wrap his arm around her. He was thankful that it was late in the evening and everyone was in their dorms by this point. The last thing either of them likely needed was gossip to spread about them. It would only be a matter of time before that spread throughout Hogwarts. Not that he was worried about his reputation exactly but he didn't want Lily to take any heat because of him.
He hummed softly. "Well, I was considering less conversation and more of this," he said before leaning in and pressing a slow kiss to her lips. "But, if you want to talk, we can do that too." Although one was far more enjoyable than the other for different reasons, Sirius would be happy to just talk with her too.
