[ Lily laughed softly and rest her head on his shoulder. ]

I always win.

[ They both knew it after all, although as far as their constant enjoyment of teasing one another went, they were still very evenly matched in her opinion. ]

I know that better than anyone.

[It was true, but knowing her partner had her temperament didn't erase the fact that he was also very stubborn. Evenly matched indeed.

As always, hearing that took his breath away. Was he ever going to get used to it? He wished he was more eloquent in the affective matters.] It's mutual, dearest.

[ Tearing her eyes away from the northern lights above them she looked at Sev instead and smiled. ]

I'm going to marry you when we get home and you'll never have a moment's peace again.

[ Not that she let him have much of one now. Lifting her chin she kissed him lightly, touching his cheek as she did. ]

I haven't had one since I was six. [He tried to sound smug, teasing her as he always did, but the light touch and closeness instantly melted him, answering with his lips against her, a bit more hungry than soft.]

[ Lily laughed softly in response, tightening her arms around him as they kissed, trying to hug him closer. ] You're the one who wanted to be friends with me, remember that.

[princenevermore]

I won't deny it. [ Still close, he answered with a hint of nostalgia in his voice.] I couldn't take my eyes off of you.

[ Kissing him again, quickly Lily looked over her shoulder at the sky before turning back to Sev with a smile on her face. ]

I'd rather look at you than anything.

[princenevermore]

Eh? [ Oh no, he was embarrassed now. He moved his hand through his hair just to give them use, tucking some strands behind his ear and looking around.] You can do that at home, we didn't travel this much for you to look at me, dear. I assure you there is nothing new to see.

[ Laughing as he seemed to grow flustered Lily kissed his cheek, catching the hand he fussed at his hair with to guide his other arm around her. ] Oh shut your handsome face. The view's wonderful from where I'm standing.

[princenevermore]

And you can watch it all you want at home, for free. Now, look at those lights you made me travel half the world to see. [He might sound rude but it's his way of hiding his embarrassment with something as normal as a compliment from his almost-wife. But again, he thinks he will never get used to it.]

What a gorgeous grouch you are. [ Smirking she kissed his cheek one more time before turning around enough to look back at the sky, sighing contentedly at the sight. ]

[princenevermore]

So I have heard. [He smirked as soon as she turned to the window, wrapping his arms around her waist and letting her rest against him. His eyes were also fixed in the landscape.] What's your next plan, then?

[lancifolium]

Me? Don't you want to take a turn at deciding?

[ Without question Lily had enough places that intrigued her throughout the world to keep them traveling for a good long time, but she wanted this to be his trip as well. ]

Though if you're referring to our immediate future my next plan is to drag you off to bed with a nice cup of tea.

[princenevermore]

I won't argue against a good cup of tea, but I was thinking about medium-term plans. [Severus was more of a spoiling Lily-person than someone who planned for himself, but he might have some ideas, given the opportunity.]

My ideas of entertainment involve less moving around than yours.

[lancifolium]

[ Running her hands over his arms while they stood there she smiled at the view, listening while he spoke. ]

Perhaps next we'll go somewhere with a wonderful library. You won't need to move and I'll have lots to read.

[princenevermore]

[He had a smooth, velvet voice. The monotonous tone only making it more calming to hear.]

It sounds delightful, to be honest. I could always read something for you.

Are you set on spoiling me for the rest of our lives together Sev?

[ The offer made her grin, blushing slightly. He certainly had the voice for it. ]

I thought I had made my goal clear, dearest.

[He knew where his strong points were, and didn't shy from exploiting them.]

[lancifolium]

Then surely you'll have to learn to stop trying to protest when I do the same to you.

[ Lily turned back around to look at him before she tilted her head back towards their rooms. ]

Shall we go not move for a while my love?

[princenevermore]

Depends on what you consider spoiling.

[ That resulted in another of his rare smiles, different from the teasing smirks.] I'm interested in that proposal.

Wait and see darling. [ Flashing a smile at him Lily leaned up and kissed his cheek before stepping back to re-enter their rooms. ]

As long as you don't mind me reading on you.

[ She had taken to draping across him often, and he certainly never seemed to mind - but that didn't mean she wouldn't tease him a little. ]

I'm not against the idea. [He may have looked all serious and harsh, but it was also his honeymoon and he was enjoying it in his own way. Having Lily that close was part of it... Severus was still taking a bit of advantage of how pleased her partner has been with the lovely necklace he gave her.]

I had a feeling you would say that.

[ Lily was quick to conjure a pot of tea and pour them both a cup. ]

So - there's meant to be a library worth seeing in Japan, and one in Germany. Which do you fancy my love?

[princenevermore]

That's not a very detailed plan. [He was a big nerd who enjoyed having all the details.] Talk to me about the pros and cons of both of them so I can make an educated decision.

[ Chuckling at the request for details she reminded herself that he didn't share her penchant for improvisation.

Settling onto a sofa with her cup of tea she waited for him to join her while considering. ]

Japan's library is supposed to house the definitive collection of books about Ghouls, they've got a lot of interesting ones over there and Ghoul Studies is quite popular. The library in Germany however, houses a terrific collection of Potions books.
